The Clubhouse is available for use by residents and family and friends are welcome to spend time with residents in the Clubhouse facilities and Café as their guests.
Pets are welcome at The Mornington subject to their owner complying with the Pet Policy
Owners must take responsibility for the control of their pet and to show consideration for other residents when exercising them in common areas.
Visitors are most welcome at The Mornington however residents must ensure that their visitors abide by The Mornington regulations in regards to parking, staying and common areas.
The Seabird Restaurant
Our Seabird Restaurant is open to residents wanting to book a table if they would like to come in for a meal.
Residents can also purchase meals as a takeaway. Takeaway menus are available at the Seabird Restaurant.
If you’re celebrating an event that you would like to have catered by the Seabird Restaurant staff, please speak with the Catering Manager.
You can also book a space to celebrate in the Clubhouse by speaking with our Reception Staff.
Clubhouse Barista Café
Enjoy a barista made coffee or freshly brewed tea along with a varied selection of light refreshments at the Café located in the Clubhouse daily from 10.00am until 2.00pm.
The Residents Social Committee also holds a monthly dinner which is very popular and is advertised widely for residents to attend. These are catered for by our Seabird Restaurant staff and are of the highest quality.
The Mornington Bus operates every weekday for trips to Mornington.The bus departs from the Clubhouse at 10.00am Monday to Friday and returns at 11:30am on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday and returns at 12noon on Wednesday and Friday
The Mornington Courtesy Car
Subject to staff availability, The Mornington provides a transport service for residents who might need to be driven to an appointment and this can be booked at Reception. There is a fee to use this service.
Our kiosk is staffed by volunteers and is open every day from 10am – 12 noon except Sundays.
Beauty, Hair & Nail Treatment
Hairdressing and beauty treatments are available on request for which there is a fee payable.
24 Hour Emergency Phone Service
The Mornington provides a 24 hour emergency telephone service to all of its residents,
Referred to as INS, comes in the form of dialler provided to you in your unit and wearable pendant, both supplied with when you moved into your unit.
The Mornington offers a visiting medical service with doctors regularly attending The Mornington.
Thursday- weekly – 9.30pm – 12.15pm
Friday- fortnightly – 9.00am – 12.15pm
Carers are also on the premises at The Mornington during certain hours. The Carers can assist with wound dressing and other personal care. Details of their services and charges can be discussed further upon enquiry.
Chemist/Pharmacy Prescription Delivery Service
Two local chemists/pharmacies provide a prescription pickup and delivery service free of charge to The Mornington Reception.
Other Health Care
Podiatry, Aromatherapy, Massage, Reflexology, Physiotherapy, Hairdresser, and beauty services are available on request all of which require a cash payment.

Residents’ Association Meeting
The Residents’ Association Meeting is held bi-monthly on Monday at 2.00pm in the Clubhouse lounge. The calendar dates of these meetings will be advised on the Lakeside TV and at the Reception Office. All residents are welcome to attend.
Annual General Meeting
The Mornington holds an Annual General Meeting of the Owners Corporation in the Clubhouse when the financial report documenting of income and expenditure for the previous financial year is presented. At this meeting residents are at liberty to make enquiries concerning the operation of The Mornington as appropriate and reasonable.
